Only played one show with them. So far so good. None broken.
I have finally found a pair of stick that can withstand how hard I play. I orders the 3 pack but only needed one pair. All the previous sticks I have used in the past would last one night. But these stayed strong for 2 nights in a row. Excited to continue using these and spread the word of the wonderful product you provide
TL/DR: Solid overall for what I think the stick is intended to be. Overall, a much better offering than I was expecting from a new player in the market.
Bear in mind I only bought three pairs of 5B longs, here’s my review:
From a quality standpoint: overall more consistent than what you would find off the shelf at a music store. Sticks were free of any warping. Pitch balancing was very close, but not perfect. All three pairs were reasonably similar in pitch. Each pair did feel fairly different than the others. One was slightly lighter, one had slight unpleasant vibration, and one was very good overall.
From a design standpoint: they feel fairly similar to a Vic Firth Chris Coleman signature stick, or a Promark Fire Grain 5B. Weight is biased slightly front-heavy. Overall feel in the hand is comfortable, and the finish is not slippery. Short taper contributes to the front heavy feel. Elongated beads produce a full sound.
Round Robin Saturday at a local studio, for a host of various musicians and parts of bands who were able to play. The Woodies 7As were so fantastic, another drummer used them for his four song set!
Great Sticks! Makes me want to try others. I was sampling the round tip 5B Long. Now I want to explore other stick using just woodies! Awesome Products guys
Living in Mongolia and sticks are extra pricey. So it was worth paying the shipping to get them here. Super solid sticks! Thanks for making a good product. Oh -- and great customer service.

I’m so glad I decided to give Woodies 7A Long drumsticks a try. The finish feels great in my hands and I love the balance.
I’m going to order another pair and also a pair of 5A Long barrel tips.
I very much enjoy these sticks. They have great balance and good reach. I broke my first stick after one rehearsal and one show (basically 3 thirty minute sets). To be far, I strike really hard at shows. The break was center when usually the break is at the tip. Still very satisfied.
The length is wonderful, the tips are awesome, the weight is fanominal, and the durability is unmatched.
I love them, their my new favorite marching stick.
All I can say is that the feel, the balance, there durability and the sound when playing is the best. I will not be using any other sticks from now on.
I am still getting used to them. The length and weight are much different from what I'm used to in a 7AN. But i am digging them. I have had them for three gigs, and I really like the length; it lets me lay back a bit and still make my reaches.
Give 'em a try; you will like them.
After the first gig, the tips came off two sticks.
These are great quality. So far are holding up well. Definitely up there with the top companies. Competitive with pricing which isn’t easy for a small company to do.
I used Woodies for the first time last night and all I gotta say is... WOW!!! I've been playing for 30 plus years and I can say these are the best sticks I've ever played with. I was shocked how good they felt in my hands. Very balanced well made sticks. Next show I'll definitely send a video.
I’m using Woodies sticks at a Christian conference I’m playing in and the response I’m getting is great. The balance, and feel is what you want in a stick. Love them.
These 5A Long drumsticks, used in the studio, produce a nice, crisp sound. I played them in various dynamic situations, and they performed wonderfully.
