I love these drum sticks they are a good length and lightweight. I wish they were more durable, though broke a pair in three uses.
Love 5B Longs!
The sticks are amazing. The same diameter as my previous go-to stick from the big company, they're 3/4 of an inch longer, same short taper as the stick I used to use. So they're weighted towards the end, which is great for my style. The length is even better. I've been searching forever for this stick the, 7A long. You can't beat it. American hickory, matched weight, perfectly straight. You cannot beat them. It's my new go-to!
I have used promark and various others for over 30 years. With no B.S. ... these long 5B round Wood tips are the best and most versatile stick I have ever used. Everything from the way they feel, to the finish and paint, to the rebound...most solid and consistent choice for a rock drummer. Please don't change formulas. Don't change anything.
These sticks have such a great feel and are INCREDIBLY DURABLE. I can't play lightly, and one pair lasted me 8 shows. My usual sticks maybe make it through 2... Keep up the great work, guys!
The weight and balance are great. The length is ok and the wood grain is too smooth for me. Although that will change with use. Overall good product that I will be using from now on.

Great sticks. My first time using them. Well balanced, very consistent
So far I have bought 9 pair, have played multiple Sunday services, 3 gigs in that time frame and I hit pretty aggressively. Before I was a big fan of the (Promark 747) and had great issues busting sticks up the shaft every 2/3 services, I went with the 5a long barrel tip and haven’t went through a single set yet, am just now starting to see normal wear from rim shots. Very satisfied and am a lot more confident in my purchase, so much that I put one of the woodies stickers on my truck! 🤣 Very happy with them over all!
These things are great! They feel awesome to play and I’ve been through. A few practices with them and loads of practice sessions are they’re still looking and feeling pretty dang fresh. I’m taking them to play a show tomorrow and I’m pretty confident in them from what I’ve played on them so far! I’m honestly not even gonna bring a backup set of sticks I’m confident enough in them.
I received my sticks last Wednesday and this is the first of three gigs over the weekend. Love these sticks! Great balance, the extra length is just what I'm looking for! I'll be ordering more soon. Thanks for making a great stick!
I love these things. They make me feel connected to the kit and give me feedback better than other brands I've tried. They are the only sticks have bought all year. And I got a 6 pack because I'm that confident and they really do last a long time so a 6 pack will last a while my more casual yet thrashy playing. My 5B's are awesome
I have tried both the 5B / 5A long sticks and I’m very impressed I love the feel of the 5B but also love the length of the 5A Sticking with the 5B because I’m quite the heavy hitter I’ve been on 3 shows and counting now with pair number one ! For me , that’s unheard of lol 3 , 90 minute plus , hard hitting shows !! Great sticks , great company !
The best sticks money can buy. No need to have a bag full of sticks, just a couple different sizes of woodies and you’re set. Very dependable, strong long lasting sticks. What i always say; Don’t leave home without them.
I use Woodie’s sticks in a concert I played in. I have the 5A barrel tip and the 7A nylon. I use both pairs on a three day event and never cracked or chipped them. Thanks Woodie for making some great sticks.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have finally found a pair of stick that can withstand how hard I play. I orders the 3 pack but only needed one pair. All the previous sticks I have used in the past would last one night. But these stayed strong for 2 nights in a row. Excited to continue using these and spread the word of the wonderful product you provide
TL/DR: Solid overall for what I think the stick is intended to be. Overall, a much better offering than I was expecting from a new player in the market. Bear in mind I only bought three pairs of 5B longs, here’s my review: From a quality standpoint: overall more consistent than what you would find off the shelf at a music store. Sticks were free of any warping. Pitch balancing was very close, but not perfect. All three pairs were reasonably similar in pitch. Each pair did feel fairly different than the others. One was slightly lighter, one had slight unpleasant vibration, and one was very good overall. From a design standpoint: they feel fairly similar to a Vic Firth Chris Coleman signature stick, or a Promark Fire Grain 5B. Weight is biased slightly front-heavy. Overall feel in the hand is comfortable, and the finish is not slippery. Short taper contributes to the front heavy feel. Elongated beads produce a full sound.
The extra length on the 5B long made a bigger difference than I thought! Sticks lasting way longer than usual too!
Played 2 , 2 hr shows and I’m a heavy hitter! They held up great and feel really nice in my hands ! I first went with 5B long , barrel tip but I’m gonna try the 5A long due the extra length Great sticks , great customer service and very easy to deal with ! Go WOODIES !!
